4troops cd review

I have had the chance to review 4Troops debut CD. I love this self-titled CD. It is four Military members who have come together to share their gift of music. A portion of the CD's that are released on May 11 2010 will be donated back to the Veterans of the Afghanistan and Iraq wars.

A bit about the group. It is consist of three men and one woman. They all have served in Afghanistan and Iraq themselves. With being stationed overseas music played a big part in all their lives. They played for large military events and after a long day back in the bunk. Anything for a small piece of home. They also sang to remember those who had been lost due to war. They are singing on behalf of all the troops and bring awareness for their needs.

Captin Meridth Melcher served in Iraq as a platoon leader on the front lines. Her job was to help with evacuations of hundreds of wounded Americans and Iraqis. Sargent Daniel Jens was a finalist on Americas Got Talent. Was was released from the Army at the End of January. Staff Sargent Ron Henry is now retired and served our country for 20 years. He was a transport manager in Iraq with the 101st Airborne Division and also the leader of an Army singing group "transportation Express". Former Sgt. David Clemo served in Afghanistan providing communications and logistics support for the 18th Airborne corps. He and Captin Melcher toured together in 2004 with the Army Solider Show.

This album contains well known country and pop songs. Also some new songs. I loved the song For Freedom. It is a beautiful song.

Chicken Soup For the Soul Thanks Mom

I have had the opportunity to read Chicken Soup for the Soul Thanks Mom. Loved this book. I love the inspirational messages and stories. Really all the stories have great thanks. Some my heart broke, while others got me in trouble for laughing in the night while my husband slept. There were a bunch I could relate to as a mom and as a daughter.

The opening statement by Joan Lundon is amazing. She wrote a great thank you to her mom. Even stating back to how her father died and her mom did a fantastic job raising them.

The quotes are fantastic. Here are a few of my favorite. They just really hit home for me

Amy Grant Somewhere down the road

I have had the opportunity to review Amy Grants Somewhere Down the Road. I have loved Amy Grant from The day Baby Baby was released. I have always been a fan. This CD is now a new favorite.

This CD is full of hope and promise. You also see where they raise above the hard times. The song overnight she did a duet with her Daughter. I love it.

My kids are found to be signing this album in the car and around the house. They enjoy it just as much as I do.

The album cover is from one of her paintings. So pretty. Would love to have it blown up to put in my office. Amy is six time Grammy winner and her career has spanned 20 years.

zibits Review

I have had the opportunity to review Zibits with my kids. They love this robot. Since they are so reasonably priced under 10.00 my kids will be getting a few in their Easter basket.

They are really easy to use, the controller is a joy stick. The on off switch was hidden in the neck but we found it. His eyes and tummy light up while making sounds when he is moving. They go in 360 and move in all directions.He stands just a bit over two inches tall. My kids will sit and play with them after dinner. It gets their imagination going.

Mastermind is a great game to get your kiddos thinking and learning strategy.My kids have loved playing this. It gets them thinking and has three skill levels. My youngest plays while just working on getting color order. Our oldest plays while matching colors and correct positioning.

Our kids really enjoy it and gets them thinking. I am all for promoting logical thinking. It is codemaker vs codebreaker. We love the squeals of laughter that come from it.

Mastermind is good for kids ages 6 and above. It is for 2-4 players. It features fun bright colored jungle animals for play.

I love helping mom business. I try and shop at mom owned shops as much as possible. I was so excited when I was able to review such a neat art product. We are lovers of photography and fun things for our walls. Well Spell It Out has become a new favorite shop. I will be stocking up soon enough.

The first product I opened was the alphabet. I love and so do my boys. I have heard Nathan sing it forward and backwards. We will be doing our own Nature walk this coming week to see what letters we can find.

Can you see why my kids love that poster? Paul is ordering frames for them as I type this. I was picky about keeping it simple. We just think that the are so fun and Unique.

The other Items sent were two greeting cards. They are inspiring and beautiful. I have sent one out to my mom and the other will be going to a friend who is having a hard time. Aren't they gorgeous? I think so.

So I know you are all wanting to know about the quality. It is top notch! Nice and durable. I wouldn't be worried about just hanging them on the wall with tacks. That is who we have the chart until our frames come in. You can find Spell it Out here

The Power of Half

I Love Love Love this book. The message is just one of those that makes you want to get up and help some one. Hannah who is now a jr in high school prompted her whole family to change the lives of others.

The Salwen family is your typical American family. They had the dream house, great kids, fantastic jobs. When Hannah and her dad were driving she spotted a homeless man. She informed her dad that if they had half of what there car was they could feed that man. This got them all thinking. She and her family discussed selling there home and donating one half of the proceeds to a charity. The other half to fiance moving into their home new home half the size.

How amazing is this girl? I am completely in awe that she is inspired by Mother Teresa. You can see the video footage of Hannah's lunchbox here

There journey was absolutely incredible. Really Hannah is the one to thank for making this come to fruition and getting the family to come together to create a new American dream. Not one of materialistic possessions but one that creates memories in their hearts and know they are helping those who need it the most. They have been helping a small village in Africa.

The Salwen Family is the family to live by. I hope to instill these values in my children as well. We try often to help those who have less than us.

I want every one to go and buy a copy of this book. A 1.00 from every book is going to Rebuilding Together. This is a book I could read over and over again

Building Character From The Start Review

I have had the opportunity to review Building Character From the Start by Susan Ragsdale and Ann Saylor.

This book totally rocks. My kids and I have been having so much fun. This book helps creativity, literacy and play. It is age ranged for children in kindergarten to 3rd grade.

Some of the activities we have done are

The Alphabet Animal Drawing. Pick a letter and use that to draw animals that start with the letter.

Pipi LongStocking - teaches family boundaries, school boundaries and responsibility

making up and looking both ways activities

a Three wish activity like the Fairy Godmother. We did this on the way home from Florida.

I love that this book gets family discussions going. It also incorporates great lessons such as boundaries, responsibility and self esteem. It comes with a CD that you can recreate activity sheets and games.

I highly recommend this book if you have children that fit the age range. I say even some of the activities are good for the younger ones. I had a 2.5 year old doing the three wishes and the making up. He did just fine.

Cookie Swap Book Review

I have had the opportunity to review Julia Ushers Cookie Swap Book. I love this cookbook. We have done a few of the recipes now. Some harder than I expected and came out not nearly as pretty as hers. The pictures in the cookbook are so inviting.

I love the concept of a cookie swap. I remember my mom going to these when I was growing up. I see on the Military housing bases woman talking of doing cookie swaps.A concept I thought was lost is very much still alive. I know with the help of this cookbook, I will be well on my way.

I really like that there are tips through out the book and that makes things easier. I know alot of the stuff in here is really fancy. In all honesty we all carry flour, sugar and most of the other ingredients in our home. The only thing I had to buy was the flour. We had run out.

We made the Peanut Butter and Jelly Cookies out of the book. Though ours weren't sandwiches due to know square cookie cutters (ours were lost in our move) we made heart ones instead. Below we did a video of what it looks like through out the process. So much fun.

I have had the opportunity to review Celtic Woman 4. I really enjoyed this cd. I grew up listening to Irish music thanks to my grandmother. This just reminded me all over again of dancing in her living room.This time the memories were crated with my sons dancing around.

My favorite songs were Kate Rusby Blooming Heather and Julie Fowlis Tha Coalas Eadar Mi's Lain. Both really beautiful.

Celtic woman offers you an easy listening CD with a calming effect. It makes you feel good listening to your kids. All the while escaping to Ireland, Scotland and England. It is a compilation of singers and songs that are not well known in the us. I have to say it is an amazing CD.

Corked Book Review

I am kind of on the fence about this book. One hand I enjoyed and other I thought it to be a bit more self indulgent that I expected.

It is about a daughter/father relationship. The daughter Kathryn is looking to reconnect with her father after a terrible accident and a death. Great point but it seems they spend more time bickering. Her disclosing her sex life to her father. Not really something I would discuss with a parent. Ok each their own.

The only relevence to wine this has is that they were going on a two week wine tour. The charecters are real people who are lonely, mean and just really self indulgent. Her father was absent in her growing up. So I can understand the need to connect and death can do that.

With the negitive said I did laugh quite a few times and could see myslef in her. I could also see my biological dad in her dad. I also saw alot of my sister with the boyfriends gone bad.

So if you like a mixed bag this one is for you.

Breeze Comfort Bra Review

I have been able to review a fantastic sports bra. As most of you know I have been working out. I love doing so. Along with that comes sweat. ICK! Well Breeze Comfort Bras have perforated holes. This allows better air circulation. The

It works. I wasn't half as irritated by the bra after my work outs. They offer great support and comfort.I love that they have back hook closure for really easy on and off. I was never a fan of sports bras for being pull over. They are really pretty and have a great style to them. I plan on stocking up on a few more of these bras for the fact that I am not left feeling hot, there isn't a heat rash or irritation from lack of support.

If you have kids you need these for your diaper bag. My kids are 4 and 6 and we still take a small backpack of essentials for them. These have now been added as a part of our backpack. I love them

Learning is fun in the Tub and Faucet Proctector Review

Sassy sent my boys some great products to try out in the tub.

First off we have made bath time to continue learning. We were provide letters and numbers. This has made it fun for Blake to practice spelling words. I believe the one has acted as a l before. Then both sets of letters and numbers are great way for Nate to associate his letters and numbers. We are having great fun. It also takes their mind off getting their hair washed. Win Win for all.

The other thing they sent us was for the faucet. The frog has been to Disney and will be going to GA. Both rooms have had a whirlpool tubs. My kids like to horse around, much against my wishes. So with this really cute frog, I know their noggins are protected.

Mother Duaghter Duet Book Review

I had the opportunity to review Mother Daughter Duet Getting to the relationship You Want With Your Adult Daughter by Cheri Fuller & Ali Plum. I was really impressed with the book. It helped me understand my mom more.

I particularly like the chapters that talked about forgiveness and setting boundaries . Here's why for each one

Forgiveness is such a hard thing. Yet how can you have a healthy relationship without it? It reminds the parent that you aren't perfect. So important!!!!

Setting boundaries I have been working on this with my mom. It reinforced that I was doing the right thing. I am sending my mom a copy of this book. We are mother/daughter/friends. I don't want to know the inmate things and neither does she. That you have friends that you discuss certain things with and other you don't. So I liked this reinforcement for me. I also now understand how parents walk that thin line.

I also liked that the book brought up the issues of self esteem and pressures from society. Do you reflect these onto your child. It made me appreciate the fact that my mom made sure to tell us we were pretty and that she was proud of us.

I think this book is valuable for any woman in the midst of transitioning from teen years into adulthood. It gives you great advice on how to do that transition in a healthy way so you appreciate each other.

We have been able review great products through Sassy. I am going to share some of our favorites with you right now.

The visor to keep soap and water out of the eyes. I have not had a tear in this house for 3 weeks now. Bath time has become fun our boys.

It easily Velcros around the head. I have them hold it in place while i rinse the back and sides. Great product for those kids who have a fear of water in there face. We love this product.

The other product we use while in the bath is a rubber cup. Love this cup. We hold it against Blake's head and it forms a protection so it blocks his ears or eyes. Make rinsing so much easier. Every house with young kiddos should have one.

I had an opportunity to review the Debra Macki line for under the Yellow Umbrella Campaign to help in awareness of Cervical Cancer.

So Debra Macki's compact includes the 3 eye shadow colors. Each one represents the three steps to save your cervix.
1. ages 9-26 have the HPV Vaccine
2. By 21 Pap Test
3. HPV test and Pap by age 30

I have had the test done before age 30 and before I had my hysterectomy. I came back as not having HPV.

I was really excited to try Skin MD Natural. I have suffered from eczema and dry skin for years. I was really suspect to its claims. I have been using this for almost 2 weeks now.

My hands feel less dry. My dry patches are clearing up. They also sent me a few facial samples. I love that my face is feeling less dry. My face was so dry it would flake. This made it hard to wear make up as it gave a caked on effect. Not anymore

My boys skins are silky like a baby's again. I love it. I love feeling there soft skin when we snuggle.

I highly recommend this product. It leaves your skin feeling refreshed. I waited to see if we would have reactions. NOTHING!!! This is a first for us. I cant tell you the last time I have used a lotion and didn't break out with hives.

Hear No Evil Book Review

I enjoyed this book and it was a quick easy read. Those are my favorites. Hear No Evil was written by Matthew Paul Turner.

It is about his journey through life growing up in a strict Baptist family. How people who I wouldn't consider a threat for my children to listen to, his family forbid it. I am referring to Amy Grant and the likes. I had to chuckle. I much rather my kid not listen to Tupac or whoever over Amy Grant christian music. He talks about how his walk and talk with God was through music.

My favorite story he tells is of him and his father talking to a member of the church who thought he could make it on star search but didn't know how to get him on the show. So he did a smaller contest. He can really take you into these moments.

He talks about working in Nashville and the Christian rockers there. He tells of meeting one and how this kid tried to not look the part of a Christian rocker. That was his first mistake. He calls the book his life sound track. Matthew gives you the stories and journeys through his life. The best part is his love for God. From growing up fundamentalist to finding a balance.

Just a great read.I recommend the book for everyone.

Mr. Mike Sings Review and Giveaway (closed)

My kids became instant fans of Mr. Mike. They have been singing If I was a Dinosaur and Animal Crackers for days now. They love The story of Tommy the Train. We have been singing and dancing to his music since Friday. We listen to this at least 3 times a day. That is how much my kids love it.

The songs are fun, silly and get the kids moving. His voice is soft and easily listened to by adults. Even my husband didn't mind and he is one who generally doesn't tolerate the kids CD's to well. He has been caught singing Just playing Around. The lyrics are catchy.

Here is a bit about Mr. Mike and he won my heart the instant he said he was a teacher. We love our teachers without them my children wouldn't be functioning at the level they are. He has been writing and playing music for 15 years.He recorded his first CD in mid 2009 and released it in December 2009.

Kidz Bop 17 Review and Giveaway (closed)

My kids and I were given the opportunity to review Kidz Bop 17 Today's biggest songs sung by kids for kids. My boys loved it. It arrived on Saturday just in time for our drive to Florida.

We really enjoyed all the songs on the CD there were a few songs we don't normally like but the kids singing them instead of the original artist we really enjoyed them. Our favorites off the cd were Party in the U.S.A., Fireflies, Say Hey, and Sweet Dreams.

There were also to Singers who are up and coming. They were making the a debut on the CD. Sinai Rose with Sounds like a hit. Mathias Andrele is signing Shine On. Both great songs. We wish them luck.

Minnies Bow-tique DVD Review

I was given the opportunity to review Mickey's Clubhouse Minnie Bow-tique Dvd. My boys love it. I love that it is interactive. The stories are Minnnie themed but my boys didn't care. There are three stories and one never before seen episode. Minnie’s Pajama Party and ‘Minnie’s Bee Story include Disney’s Adventure Mode a interactive game using the remote control.

Sade has a new CD out called soldier of love. I love her music from smooth operator to kiss of life. I have now downloaded babyfather, morning bird and be that easy to my ipod.

I love how her music just tells the story. The beats make you want to get up and dance. I also like that She and her band only put out records when she has something to say and not for the sake of flooding the market. This is her 6th album over her 25year career.

Here is a bit more about Sade she was born in Nigeria and her first career choice was fashion. She had her first single in 1984. She values her personal life and relationships. They have taken precedence over her music. In a 20 year span she released 3 albums. She puts her heart and soul into her music and wants it to be the best each and every time. Love and War Finding the Marriage you Dreamed Of Review

I had a really hard time reading this book. I am usually a fan of John Eldredge books. I think it had to do with the fact that after each chapter you were left feeling like information over load. I really should have read this with my husband.

In that respect reading with your partner and talking about it afterwards would have a been a great experience. I plan on doing this when Paul get back. It really talks about showing and sharing with your spouse or partner you are in this for the long haul. The running joke in our home is that there is no divorce there is only cement shoes.

I did enjoy the chapter on being more than just roommates. I think sometimes we all forget that there was and is a reason we are together. That we have to make time to enjoy and share each other. Whether it is cooking dinner together or traveling. You are doing something. You are sharing your life. That is all I have ever wanted it to share my life with Paul. When he is not around I document what has happened for him.

I like the Christan approach to the book. Our faith is important to us. I always enjoy that in marriage types of book. It is also reminding of what God wants from us.

Parables From A Carolina Farm Review

I have had the opportunity to Review Parables From A Carolina Farm By Lily Herndon Weaks. This is a fantastic book that offers short stories with bible studies. I really enjoyed the bible studies. I am love to learn and have been refocusing my religious beliefs and convictions. Each chapter is set up in parable, essay and bible study.

If you are like me you are wondering what a parable meant. Its a fancy word for short story. Love the word now. I like pretty words. Lily doesn't disappoint in that aspect either. My husband and I read this together and we finished in two nights. It really is an easy read. I am going to highlight a few of my favorites.

My first favorite was Transform and Take wing. Well my last 18 months I have been transforming. I have becoming a new me.Lily illustrates this concept using a Caterpillar transforming into a butterfly. How true that is of our own lives. We all find a place to retreat and reflect. The bible study question for this was "do you really meditate on what Jesus has done for you? Is your life living up to the sacrifice he made?" page 145. I really thought long and hard about this and my answer was no I don't. I think it time that I change this.

I really like the what bats taught me section as well. Though I am not a lover of bats I get what Lily was trying to get across here is that you can call for help and you will receive.

This book whether you are a Christian or not You can take these short stories and studies and apply them to your own life. Paul and I walked away with thoughts and questions that we hadn't ever visited. Him coming from an Atheist background and me a Christian. We have opened the doors for discussion on the topics above and the others in the book. Our recent discussion of Do you take for granted the sacrifice Jesus made on the cross has got him thinking? Is what my wife thinks and believe wrong? Am I missing out on an opportunity to be with her for eternity if I don't believe. I love that this book has got us both questioning our views but also talking about a subjects we avoid. The one thing we do agree on is this book has opened views and ways to explain what happens in life's journey better to our kids.

I have only highlighted a few of my favorite aspects. I truly recommend everyone reads Parables From A Carolina Farm. You will walk away with a full heart and things to make you think and reflect on your own life. I know my family is better for reading this book.

Have you heard of Country Bob's? Well if you haven't you are missing out. I was given the opportunity review Country Bob's All Purpose Sauce.

I LOVE it. We marinated Flank Steak with it. It turned out tender and the flavor was amazing. My kids devoured their steak and asked for more. Which is a rarity here unless it is a sweet. We have decided to replace our A1 sauce with Country Bobs

Last night I didn't have my normal ingredients for my meatloaf. We used it in that. It turned out awesome. I know we will be purchasing some more for our family. My kids have used it as dipping sauce for chicken nuggets and the meatloaf.

Jennifer Shaw Review and Giveaway (closed)

Jennifer Shaw has a new CD out and it’s called Love Broke Through. It is a Christian CD and can I just tell you after listening to it my day continued on a positive note. I felt refreshed and spoke to through her music

A bit about Jennifer she is a mom to 3 and her youngest Toby is a special needs child. Which made me fall even more in love with her music? I knew she speaking for everyone’s up hill battles. Her father passed form Lou Gehrig’s disease but before he passed she made him a CD entitled Be Still. Within months radio stations picked her up and she was being heard around the world. She has played at Carnegie Hall and with the Columbus Symphony. She transitioned from being an Opera singer to Christian singer with the help of her pastor. He told her that she needed to form a band to help the church become more contemporary. She heard God talking to her and telling her to pursue this avenue. She has.

So on with the CD Love Broke really shows you the struggles Jennifer was having at different moments in her life. My favorite song on the CD is who kisses you good night. My favorite line is “who’s kissing you good night, who’s is whispering I love you as they turn out the light, who sings you a tender lullaby. Who’s kissing you good night?” This song really spoke to my soul and core being. It just reflected a lot of the same questions I have asked myself. My children really liked God loved the world.

The CD was written for her own struggles but also from what she has experienced on her mission trips. She says most especially the title cut of the CD. That track came to light after talking with some one in Wales. Asante Sana Jesu was written after a trip to Africa. The title means Thank You Jesus.

This CD is giving Jennifer a chance for her desire for people to know Christ. She just wants everyone to see that Christ Matters.

Air Bud Golden Reciever Specail Edition was released today. My kids and I have had the oppertunity to review it.

We really enjoyed the story and the extra scene footage. For those that dont know what Air Bud is all about it here you go, Air Bud is a loveable golden retriever and he learns to play football.He runs interception and scores a touchdown. Hey not bad for a dog right? My kids were cheering him on. From the moment of that touch down he was a show stealing pup. It is a great family flick. I am sure your little ones will enjoy it as much as mine did.

Angels Book Review and Giveaway.(closed)

I was given the opportunity to review Angels Who They Are and How They Help What the Bible Reveals by Dr. David Jeremiah.

I really enjoyed this book. I have always been fascinated by Angels and what they look like. I remember my dad saying they aren't going to have wings and be all shiny. That is the movies. They are the bums on the street, a stranger who smiles when you are down. They are all part of gods plan.

Dr. Jeremiah takes you through a journey and shows you biblical references and reasoning's. There are ways to actually back up what he is saying.This is a book that will help you understand the propose of Angels. Did you know that Angel meant Messenger? Well what a pretty term to deliver us messages from god.

This book is a no fluff type book. It is a methodical read and straight forward. Reminded me almost of text book like. Not to the point you don't want to read. I really liked pages 151 and 152 where it talks about how our prayers are heard by god.

It goes on to name some angels like Gabriel who was always the bearer of great news. He is the one who delivered the message to Mary about the coming of Gods son in the flesh. Then there was Micheal who has become the arch angel. He is the protector that I call up on all four sides of our house at night. How each angel weather named or not has a specific role in gods plans. I think it gives you a little more insight to who god is.

I found this read to be fascinating and a learning experiences. I have found some new scripture that I refer back to. I think the skeptics would find some great information.Those with questions will find their answers.

Joanie Leeds and the Night lights I am a Rock Star

This is a fun CD for children of all ages. The kids have so enjoyed this cd. I think they know the words to almost of songs. I caught myself singing I’m a Rock Star song while cleaning the bathroom. So they are catchy.

Joanie’s voice is smooth and easy to listen to. The songs all have great beats and melodies. Nathan love Popcorn. Blake loved En Espanol and It Was The Elf. Blake also liked that it came with the words so he could follow along as the songs played.

If you are looking to have a fun silly day when it is raining out or just dancing while driving down the road Joanie and The Nightlights is the CD for your family. Celebrate Ground Hogs Day With

We will spending groundhogs day watching the movie per family tradtion but we will also be adding in a fun game. Alvin & The Chipmunks: The Squeakquel video game. My kids are huge Alvin and The Chipmunks. So let me share some facts with you on the game

The story line is that The Chipmunks and the Chipettes square off and jet set around the world competing. They finals happen at Hollywoods Super Dome. This is great for my kids becasue we love music. It will also help with coordination.

I have placed my cup on my window sill in the kitchen. As it is convient for me but also out of reach of my children. My husband also has one in the cup holder of his car. He deals with people day in and day out doing sales. So his breath is always freash. Can I tell you how beautiful and fun this artwork is? I was really intrigued by all the little details. Maurices Daughter

Maurice’s Daughter is a book that deals with the passing of the author’s father. The book is written beautifully. The pictures are absolutely amazing. It takes you through Galina’s journey about losing her dad but making it understandable for children to follow too.

I opened the package and sat down with my boys who are 4 and 6 to read. We are 18 months out from losing my father. There are still many questions for them; such as when will be seeing Pop Pop again? Well I tried to explain heaven and God as much as I could to them. This book really connected the dots for them. I have found them sitting on the floor retelling the story using the pictures. The kids went and asked my husband who grew up in an Atheist home, to read it to them. He did. Later that night we talked about the book and he had a whole new out look on believing and really respecting my views. It was a way for us to better connect our beliefs.

The author had a series of dreams. From there she would write and paint them. When she had it all put together is it like a song with the way it flows together. The images and the words are burned into my mind. She created a book that has allowed my children to know that no matter what Pop Pop is always in their hearts and one day we will be reunited. Death is a hard concept for kids and Ms. Fouks has made this concept so much easier for parents to talk with their children. In the back of the book is Journal pages for the children to write and draw their memories of a loved one who has passed on. For my kids this was therapeutic. Questions seemed so simple but never crossed my mind.

If you have children and are dealing with death whether sudden or knew it was coming. Maurice’s Daughter will be a great asset in dealing with your Journey of grief. Galina Fouks has made this easier for your family. It reminds you that each day is a gift and to cherish those days.

Thanks to Bella Merce I had the opportunity to review a Necklace. It is a custom hand stamped Pendant and absolutely gorgeous. I have been admiring her work for a bit now and am so excited to share her work with you.

When The package arrived it was in a box with a bow tied around. Very pretty and inviting. Giving it that special touch.

I was lucky enough to review Bella Merce

Being a mom I have wanted a piece that connects us all together. That is exactly what this piece does. I opened the box and just stared at the piece. I was in awe and it was so much more than I had expected. The names looked like they were meant for this piece. I cried when I saw the necklace. You know each name was stamped with care in designer print. The pearl in the center adds elegance. Simple and Elegant is what I have been looking for. Cyndi has captured that with this peice.

Densie Daily Dozen review and giveaway (closed)

I have had the opportunity to review Denise's Daily Dozen, all I can say is I love this book.

It gives you steps to lose 12 pounds in 2 weeks. I love how the book literally gives you step by step instructions. There are pictures demonstrating the exercises. There is also menu plans. Well it doesn't get much easier than that. I have tried a few of the recipes and will be doing more when my husband leaves for boot camp. Hes a picky eater. My favorite is the Pecan Pear Salad and the Pan Seared Read Snapper.

Her tips for doing squats and lunges while you are on the phone or brushing your teeth are fantastic. I had two sick kids expecting alot of my time. I went between squats and lunges while folding laundry, cooking and other chores. It helps. I am a busy mom and don't always have time to get complete exercise in. she gives you tips on how to measure yourself. The hints and tips are just fantastic.

I was able to ask her some Questions. I did with the Mamavation moms in mind. So here is our Q&A

1) What inspired you to become a fitness expert?
My parents both helped me develop a love of fitness. Many people know my father was a professional baseball player, but my mother was also active and was a New York State jump-roping champ in her teens. As I grew up, my parents really instilled the importance of fitness, plus a sense of “you can do anything , or be anything you want to be, if you follow your dreams,” which definitely influenced the path that I have taken. I try to now give my daughters that same encouragement. As a child and teen and into college, I was very involved in competitive gymnastics, which taught me all about discipline and dedication. My parents were extremely supportive of that. With those two role models, I am who I am today.

2) how do you stay motivated on the days that you are swamped with work to still get your exercise in?
On my busiest days when I can’t go to the gym or make time for cardio, I sneak in exercise in other ways, wherever I can, and I truly recommend this to others. This means parking further away from the supermarket; taking the stairs instead of the elevator at work; bringing your kids to the park instead of to the movies; and doing squats in the bathroom while you brush your teeth or leg lifts in the kitchen while you prepare dinner. Those little moments of fitness really do add up to a healthy, active lifestyle!

3)I have a group of pregnant moms and they want to know what exercises are great for when you are further along?
The main thing you need to remember about exercising while pregnant is that it’s not about weight loss, it’s about staying healthy to help your little one grow and really listening to your body’s needs. Gentle movement is what you want -- there are some light toning exercises and yoga poses that are great for during pregnancy. I recommend you look into fitness classes in your area geared specifically towards pregnant women, or find a workout DVD you might enjoy, like my Fit & Firm: Pregnancy! Having a fit and healthy pregnancy is so important; just remember that you should always check with your doctor before doing any form of exercise.

4) would love to know what workout dvd's of your you would recommend to go along with this book?

I had the opportunity to read This is your Brain In Love by Dr. Earl Henslin. I found this book really interesting. I love the first story of Annie and David. It reminds me of Paul and I. It is a really easy read. I read this in 24 hours. I couldn’t put it down. There are test in there to see what kind of lover you are. I am the scattered lover and Paul the anxious lover. I really think it fits our personalities. He is the one who provides for his family. I am the one who tries to do so much. I love how he gives you tips to make things easier for you and your partner. Dr. Henslin calls them Secrets. It just kind of gives you the ah moment. We are really excited about putting some of this in place and see how we change as a couple. The doctor breaks your brain up into sections and each section is a different type of lover.

If you’re a couple and are struggling. This is the book for you. You and your partner might learn a little bit about yourselves and each other. If you are looking to turn things around in your marriage the book has simple things that can be done to help turn it around. I highly recommend this book for all who are looking for easy fixes and understanding. Thanks Thomas Nelson for allowing me to review this book.

WAT-AAH Review and Giveaway(closed)

I have had the opportunity to review the WAT-AAH water. I placed it in the fridge and the kids have gone to town. It was placed strategically on the shelf in their view. Lets see what happened when I snuck up on my son. Who looked back and realized he was caught

My kids have loved them. I had one out of the box that was sent. They have drank the rest. They have really enjoyed them. The pictures on the bottle are fun. Orglamix Cosmetics is a 100% pure minerals and not only that they are a proud member of PETA. I have had to oppertunity to review some of the eye shadows. The colors that were sent to me were Fig,Silk and Buttercup. They are all gorgous in their own rights.

The package arrived in a really cute black drawstring bag and with a personalized note. The colors came in little jars and looked really classy. Very professional.The colors are just so vibrant.

I have so enjoyed these colors and plan on stocking up. The colors go on smooth. I have read people use primer and apply wet.I did neither of these things.They are long lasting. I did NOT have to do a touch up a day of an event. That sealed the deal. I will be traveling this year and wont have the time to reapply.

Sensor Soap Dispenser

Thanks to SimpleHuman I was able to review the sensor soap dispenser. This has been a god send to us with flu spreading like wild fire around our house and colds. My kids love to put there hand under and think it is magic that makes the soap come out. It has made our hand washing battles much smoother. You don't have to use it for just soap. You can use it to apply lotion.

It is easy to fill. It does require 4 double aa batteries, those are easy install. It is small which is great for homes with little counter space. I love that it matches our kitchen. We just did a big Christmas dinner and after cleaning the turkey I didn't have to worry about contaminating the sink area.

SimpleHuman has other great products as well. I know I will be purchasing
the dish rack and sink caddy as well. I love the sleek designs and how little space they require for storage. I highly recommend simplehuman product.

Glee volume 2 review and giveaway

Our family has a love of music.Thanks to all my parents. When looking for my spouse that was a requirement.

This fall a great show called Glee came out and it became instant crack for our family. You wanted us to talk or visit on Wednesday nights forget it. We would tape it and the boys would watch Thursday afternoons. I was so excited to see CD coming out.

Who doesnt love Nerf? We were given the oppertunity to review the Nerf Weather Blitz. We have used it in the sunshine and the rain. The boys love it.

We had it outside for some family fun. Here you can see they had no trouble gripping it or throwing. I love texture of it for my boys sensory imputting also. Nathan saw a football player with goggles so he had make some. Just for the game time oppertunity.

I grew up with Nerf products and glad my boys are too. They are great quality and extremly durable. Even in the rain the boys were able to keep the grip on their football. Unlike another brand they have. My boys tend to be hard on toys and the Nerf Weather Blitz still looks new.

Being in the blogging world awhile now, I started hearing about Poken. I was intrigued by the name alone. Then I saw the gadget itself. They are usb devices that act as a business card. How cool is that. my address book is over flowing with business card. Is yours? Well Poken is your answer.

These come in fun designs from Aliens to Obama to Animals.I am sure you can find one to fit your personality.

It is so easy to use. You creat a business card by plugging your poken into the usb drive and going to the website to registar.

You can add your website, your contact info, a picture and all social media you use.
So easy. All your online identies are in one easy place.

I will be attending a few conferences in 2010 and it will be great for networking there. I will be able to touch my poken's hand to theirs and out information will be automatically transfered. They call this High fouring. Below you will find a video explaing more.

when you are done you can upload your business cards and then export to a file so you have everything in one place. So you are organized at a glance. I love this. I am one who has to have things organized. This makes this possible.

I so recommend Poken. I am working on a few dealerships down here and a publishing company to go this route for there employees. If you dont Poken You need to start!

Ease Funhouse Review

EASe Funhouse treasure hunt was supplied to my family for review by the Synergy Company. What this game is used for is children who are on the autism spectrum to help with sensory.

My boys both loved it. It has nice soothing music and requires them to think and act on what they are looking for. Great for Nathans motor skills.Blake got to work on his listening skills. I chose to do this when each at different times were acting all hyper. I allowed each to play the game. As they were playing I saw them calming down. They were getting the sensory input their little bodies were craving.

Ease stands for Electronics Auditory Stimulation Effect. Basically this means it is to support and promote sensory stimulation for those who have sensory and organization issues. I will say for me it did cause some dizziness.

" Ease products deliver short intense burst of sensory experiences to stimulate but not over stimulate a child experiencing difficulty with sensory processing and organization. The virtual sensory diet creates a palette of experience to help a child cope with typical environmental conditions." Creators of EASe funhouse.

The funhouse game works on reinforcing organization and attention. This means it is making the child listen to verbal commands. This is perfect for my kids. They enjoyed the wide array of object that needed to be found. They ranged from words, to expressive face pictures and simple dotted pictures.

My boys really enjoyed this. I recommend this product to anyone who has children with sensory issues and I would say hyper activity as my children have both these issues. It seemed to have a calming effect on Nate and Blake.

I have had the opportunity to review Jillian Michaels products.

The first set is the Quick Start Rapid Weight Loss System. I did not start this without consulting a Doctor and I suggest you do the same. There is the Maximum Strength Calorie Burner and the Maximum Strength Fat Burner. The Calorie Control basically makes it so you take in less at your main meals. I see this is working. I love to see the results. I have said before I am on over emotional eater. This allows it to help be controlled. The Fat Burner works to help burn fat. Yes it does work. I have done this for almost two months now and I am seeing results. I have had no side effects and feel great.

The Next thing I was allowed to review was Jillian Michaels Fitness Ultimate 2010. You know Jillian from The Biggest Loser and the 30-day Shred. You are getting the same intense workouts now. She wants to make sure they are giving you results. Results you will get. If you are looking to change up your workouts. This is the workout for you. I love how you are forced to push yourself through. There are a few glitches with the board but are easily fixed. Every now and then my weight goes up. If you go in and reweigh yourself it straightens out. I love that is like have a personal trainer right in your living room. She encourages you and motivates you to do better.

The last thing I have done is the 30-Day Shred. I love it. I have not moved passed a level 2 yet. I am working on it. I love the intensity of the work. I will say my husband asked why it looked like I had been riding a horse for days. Well that's my shred walk. I always feel good after doing the workouts. Ea Sport Active More WorkoutsReview

Thanks to Ea Sport Active I have been able to review Eas More Workouts. I absolutely love this workout. I didn't think I would be able to work up the sweat. Let me tell you, this workout does you in. I love it. You strap on the leg strap, my one suggestion do the workout in shorts. the strap seems to slip on material. Other than that you are ready to go.

The workouts take place at a tropical resort. The graphics are just beautiful. It makes me want to work out more.

My favorite exercise on here is the obstacle courses. I like the extra activities that it does. I also enjoy the boxing. It gets out a ton of frustration.

My least favorite exercise was the lunges. Lunges bring on the burn.I know this is a good thing. So I push through

This has become a family fun activity. We all get involved and see who can beat who. I like that is shows how many calories you have burned. The time that it takes you to complete your workout.

I found Bob Greene's nutritional book to be very helpful.

If you are looking for a fun workout and something to get your day started. This is the wii game for you. I look forward to doing these workouts each day. They have become routine in becoming a better me. So come join me in the six week challenge. you will be glad you did!

These Critters are so adorable. Yoohoo friends are easy to use. They make the cutest noise when you squeeze their tummies. Nate giggles in delight each time he does so. He does so often.

Along with having these extremely soft friends. The kids can play online. It is a safe fun forum. That if I walk away for 10 minutes. I know my kids wont find something they shouldn't. They love the games. Their favorite the pie throwing contest. They also like to see how many they can dress. This is great for Nate's motor skills as he lacks there. Blake loves the computer freedom.

Here's a quick demo. Please don't mind all our stuffy noses.

We will be buying these for niece's and nephews. Other kids birthdays. I love that they are learning but they also snuggle their pals to sleep at night.

I was given the opportunity to review Yes to Cookies. They are Gluten free, Sugar free and No Starch cookies. A mother of two autistic and ahdh boys dream. You mean they can have sweets without getting all crazy on me?

So the skeptic in me says yeah right. We have done the sugar free cookies and the kids still get all bananas on me. So when the package arrived. I waited anxiously for them to come in from playing. I wanted to put these to work.

They love them Blake loves the Strawberry Banana flavor and Nate the Cocoa-Licious Flavor. They were not hyper after eating. They really enjoyed them. I am really impressed by this company. When they asked for a cookie I wasn't afraid to give them one.

These cookies are great for diabetics, people trying to loose weight and much more.

Sprig Toys closed

I was given the opportunity to review Sprig Toys. For those who are not familiar with Sprig Toys they are an Eco friendly toy company. My favorite part is they do not require batteries.

My kids tired out the Dino Adventure Big Rig. This is the cutest set. They are durable. The jeep had an accidental trip down the stairs thanks to the dog. NOT a scratch or break. Score one for Sprig. The kids have since chased the dog pretending to be the dinosaur.

The other set we played with was the Ol Mac's Story building Farmyard They have not stopped playing. They love this set. It made up of pop outs and have blocks to hold the story board pieces. They are very sturdy. They set up the farm play and then change it up again. I am so pleased that they love this toy.I am really impressed with the quality. I chuckled when it said over 95pieces on the box. It did not look like it could hold that many. It sure did. My kids are in love.

I love that they are using their minds and being creative. I love that they are actually sharing. These play sets are great for enriching young little minds. To use with two autistic children this is an important piece for them.To keep communicating and reenacting. Sprig Toys does that for my children.

We have had fights over the Dino jeep so Blake will be getting one for Christmas and Nate the three little pigs.

Diamond Rio Beautful Mess

I had a very hard time at first getting into this book. With that said once they got more into the individual stories I was more captivated. For those who don’t know Diamond Rio is a country music band that sings Beautiful Mess, I believe and my personal favorite One More day.

They got their start in Nashville Tennessee at Opry Land. Despite a hard beginning the six member band has become a sensation. The band members include: Marty Roe, Dan Truman, Jimmy Orlander, Brian Prout, Gene Johnson, and Dana Williams. Each to have over come obstacles in their personal life and as a group. When Marty lost his hearing and the group was falling apart. Diane came into save the day and got them back on track. She did this by training him again and adjusting his mix. Amazing that the solution was that simple, yet it took them so long to figure out. How they struggled on the road and missing their families that led some to divorce. Yet they continue on and give us great music.

My only other wish is that we got more information on the band as it is now. Not so much of the past band members. I see where there story needed to be told this way. I will be giving this to my grandfather for Christmas as this is one band we have in common. I know how much he loves them

Corel has given me to opportunity to review and giveaway Corel Digital Studio 2010.

I love the ease of this program. I click it checks off and goes to the slide show. I have used all the features and all are easy to use. I am working on a video for my family so they can see what we have been up to since moving here. Not all have computers. This was a way for me to make it easy.

The instillation process was extremely easy. It did everything it needed to do.The graphic quality is amazing. It has a standard definition and a High definition setting. I have used both. The HD is slightly clearer. Love that you have to option. This is compatible with windows seven.

Another favorite feature is that I can upload this directly to YouTube and Facebook. How Awesome is that?

You can organize your photos,videos and music all in one place. You can also enhance your pictures in just minutes. To get creative Juices flowing you can do a calendar, photo book, slide show and more. You can turn your videos into a Hollywood experience, just by adding an opening and closing credits. Loved this feature. Sorry cant share that video just yet...It will be used as a Christmas gift for my mom.

I have done a short video for you of making a collage. Quick and Easy. I used the kids favorite pictures from the Festival of Lights we went to. They now have this on their wall.

Golden Moon Tea Review

My husband and I have been reviewing some tea from Golden Moon and we love it!.

we got some samples. The flavors we have tried are:
- organic green tea
-honey pear tea
-french breakfast tea
-white Persian melon
-white licorice

my favorites hands down were honey pear and the white licorice. I am not one for really sweet that was the Persian melon. My husband loved it and the organic green tea. It seeped really well.

For the melon I turned it to an iced tea and enjoyed it more that way.

My husband and I agree that we will be buying from Golden Moon Tea for my grandma's birthdays. They are avid tea drinkers. The flavors are rich and smooth. That is important to all of us. The aroma was inviting. The color was beautiful. I am one of those people who need drinks and food to look inviting for me to try it. This certainly was.

I have been using the ecover products for a few weeks now. I am one that takes a few weeks to be sold, yet after the 3rd use they had me hook line and sinker. This company was founded in Belgium. They were the worlds first ecological factory. How awesome is that. They are on the Global 500. They use all raw materials. So to be the most ecological friendly.

I have been using the multipurpose cleaner and the all surface cleaner.

I love that I don't break out in an asthma attack while using the product. I love my that my kids with sensory integration disorders don't complain about the smell. I was ready to go out and buy a new stove. we have a flat top stove and I hate it. It never looks clean. Ecover just saved me 100's of dollars.

I have been lucky enough to be able to review The Friendship Stone. I love this product. Habitwise Get Loss

I have had the opportunity for the last 3 weeks try Habitwise. I wanted to give this enough time to give a fair assessment. I love this product. If you are having issues with weight and remembering what your intakes should be this is perfect.My bracelets came in the cool colors so pretty.

You wear your servings on one hand and as you eat that serving you move the opposite hand. So simple. It took me a few days to remember the colors but I got it. Now it is automatic.

I have had woman ask me what they are for. I sincerely hope they have gone and looked into this product. What is weight loss? It is about changing lifestyle and habits. Well this is the reinforce. Like teaching a child to pick up his toys, when he is done you praise and give a sticker. Well this is the adult version.

Each Color is associated with a food group and serving amount.

My boys were each given a shirt. I love them. One was a tootsie roll and the other baseball with tootsie roll on it. Happens to be one of the boys favorite treats. They were high quality. I have washed them a few times to see how the design held up. They held up awesome!! As a parent that is important to me. I also have the added fact that my kids with the ocd tend to fixate on cert in items. These each have become an I must wear. They are holding up like champs.

They aren't just about clothing either. They are about helping moms and making money. They have business opportunities with direct firms like Mary Kay and pampered chef. They are about empowering woman. I love that. With every purchase of Likewear you are helping a mom. I am all for helping working moms. I know I will be making some purchases from Likewear for Christmas for my boys.

Home Studio Scrabble Pendant

Thanks to Home Studio I got to review a scrabble pendant and chain. I love it!

I am a Jewelry Lover. My husband hasn't caught on to that yet. When I received the Pendent. I was really surprised by the quality and extent of detail that when into it. I think it is such a cool piece. When it arrived it came in a cool little drawstring pouch. My husband who is oblivious to most pieces I wear, commented on this saying how pretty it was.When told it was on a scrabble tile he was even more impressed by the genius behind this.

I love that the chain is durable and has links that you can decide how short or long the pendent will be worn. I love the fact that there is a bit of give. My youngest yanked on the chain trying to see it. Not a mark or break.

I chose the hope pendant for that is what our family is thriving on. Hope for our tomorrow, hope for the years ahead, hope that things will change. It just seemed fitting.

These pendants are on my Christmas list. I will be sending them to a few back home. If you are a twilight fan they have some for you. If you are religious like our family they have a beautiful cross pendant. Home Studio has something for everyone.

Replacement Child review and giveaway

I had the opportunity to read Replacement Child by Judy Mandel. It is a memoir about growing up in a family after tragedy struck.

Her parents lost her sister Donna when an American Airlines flight struck their home. It also left her sister Linda with 80 percent of her body burned. On the advice of a psychiatrist the family had another child to help the healing process, thus became Judy's job before she was even born. She grew up with comparssion happening and not always stated out loud between Donna and her. Judy always pushing the envelope to see what she could do next. It wasn't until her parents were much older and dying did she go and discover what her true role in her family was.The love that is between these sister is unbreakable.

I could not put this book down. I sat up in the night reading and getting scolded by my husband to put it way. I was even more intrigued when she started talking about CT. I am from CT and knew the schools and places she talked about there. I can tell you I cried and laughed.

It has been a long while since I have been captivated by a book. To where I wanted to know what happened next. I Believe everyone should go out and read this story. you wont be sorry you did.

I got a chance to review the Granny's Pecan Pie melting cubes. I had no idea what melting cube was. So I was excited to see. We went into the oil and candle section of walmart and purchased a burner (2.97). I have used a tea light with the melting cube in the top. I am in LOVE with these cubes. I have used one and It has burned for six hours. Can you believe it is still going? Well it is. My husband loves the scent. He is picky when it comes to smells. I love how the scent goes through out the whole house. Loved that when I opened the cute package, the smell wafted out.

They are easy to use and break apart. My only recommendation is if you live in warm climate keep them in the fridge. We had a few 100 degree days and they started to melt a bit.

I will be buying some and sending them home for the holidays. As my mom, sister and a few girlfriends are candle nuts.

E.L.F Cosmetics Review

Thanks to Ted at E.L.F. Cosmetics I got to review some of their products.

I love this Product. I have a real issue with being sensitive to makeup. I have had no problem for the last 7 days. I am ecstatic. I was given the concealer, an eyeshadow , a bronzer and lip gloss.

The bronzer- I have never used a bronzer before so I had to call my mom and ask her what to do. I will never look back. It turned my pasty white face into a healthy glow. I love that it didn't feel heavy.

Eyeshadow- Loved how easily this smoothed on with no hiccups like regular with applicators. The brush wasn't harsh. I like that. I got one brush from CVS and threw it way. I will be adding the E.L.F. complete brush set to my Christmas list.

Concealer- I was able to hide the bags under my eyes and get the redness completely out of my Cheeks. Never once has this happened before. I am a fair skinned girl with red cheeks. Not a pretty thing.

Lip Gloss I am loving this. Honestly I am not a lip gloss person. This has converted me. It applies easily with just the right amount. Not messy like lip smackers and others.

I will be shopping my local Target for more E.L.F. products. I know for myself I will be sending this product in my Christmas box back home to my sister and mom also. The prices are fantastic and the quality surpassed my expectations.

I will be adding before and afters when my camera is done chargeing.

Heal Your Hunger Review

I had the Opportunity through Uprinting and Tricia Greaves to review, Tricia's 3 meal magic.

I have to say I loved it. 3 meal Magic talked about eating, to avoid dealing with emotional issues. When you think about that statement alone, It is so true.I know in my own journey that is how I got to 350 pounds. I didn't want to deal with my pain my reality. I wish I had known about this plan before getting my surgery done. I will be following it in the last leg of my journey.

She talks about eating 3 meals and going in 5 hour increments. That way your not stretching your stomach. you are eating regular sized meals and enjoying those meals. You are not bloated from over eating. I was listening and it was like a smack in the forehead. It all made sense.

Nickeloden Animal Friends

Thanks to Ashley at bhimpact I was able to review Nickelodeon Animal friends. The dvd included the following shows
Dora the Explore ABC animals~ my kids loved this episode because a few days earlier we had seen an armadillo. This episode Dora and boots help the armadillo find the missing animals of the alphabet.

Go Diego Go: Alicia and Diego save the otters. My boys are huge Diego fans. So they were excited to have him on the video.

Wonder Pets save the swan and puppy

Yo Gabba Gabba Animals this was a new show to my kids. They really enjoyed the music in the show.

Blue's Clues Animal Behavior the boys love anything interactive. So solving the clues was a hit with them.

Ni Hao Kai-lan Safari Pals. This was another new show to them. They even told their dad they learned Chinese.

I loved that I was able to get things done. That just when I thought they were getting bored. They were re captivated with a new show on the disc. All the stories have educational based lines. They were about helping and solving problems. So while Blake and Nate were watching, They were learning. As a parent it is important that they watch educational wholesome shows. The boys really have enjoyed this dvd as it has not left the dvd player during rest time. This is what they ask for.

Busy Body Book

I had the opportunity to review the busybodybook I am a mom with two small children and a husband who is dependent on me to tell him what the schedules are. I love this book. It is really pretty and stylish.

I like that each person in my house hold can have a slot and activities can easily be located. The spaces are plenty big enough for all information.

I really enjoyed the fact that they have a whole area where all your important dates can be listed in one place. I am always trying to remember birthdays and anniversaries. Not so easy for me. I know my mom has a hard time too. So I will be purchasing one for her for Christmas too.

I know personally I will be buying these for the holidays. I think all moms need this product. You are organized all in spot. I know the least clutter around makes me happy. Our system we have made us crazy. We have things paper clipped to our calender so we don't forget. There are pockets in the front and back of the organizer. There is To Do list. I can't rave about the BusyBodyBook enough.

By The Book Ebook.

I had a great opportunity to read and use By The Book: How to Take Care of My Kids. I love this book.

I am a mother of two special needs children. I want my sitters to know the children. I loved it even more because we don’t have family caring for our children now. It is people we have meet only a few times. So here is what is in the book:

-There is Emergency Contact Information. So I was able to list people who to contact in case they could not get a hold of us.
-Also a schedule so they know what each of the kids routines are throughout the day or evening. For us it was evening.
-A section called Nanny News this is where meals were recorded. Important information that needed to be relayed to me and Paul.
-A whole page devoted to allergies and Special needs. This is important to Paul and I because our kids have triggers. They range from sensory to behavior. I want them to understand what to do if this happens and what to avoid so their day together is good.
-They even had a section on pets. So turbo wasn’t left out.

I will purchase this book. I will be traveling more next year on business. Paul and I will be having a weekend getaway. Then our ten year anniversary. I will feel better know that my children will be taken care of because of this book. As parent we have a responsibility to protect our kids but also educate our sitters on our children. By the book will do just that.

Pure and Natrual Body Wash

Pure and Natural soap is an all Natural soap. I decided to try it due to my sons skin sensitivity. He breaks out from everything. He said he was tired of the baby soap. We tried dial and dove. He broke out from those. So we figured we would try the Vanilla seed and Mango butter. Since we are also living with my mother I have to be really careful with smells and perfumes. She has lung issues

The smell is light and airy. A little goes a long way. I have stopped using my Dial yogurt soap and have changed to this too. I have eczema and it has helped.

I highly recommend this product. You can find it at Walmart in a two pack for 4.98.

GlamKate Esty Shop

I want everyone to know about GlamKate. If you are looking for fun or sentimental she can come through for you. I had her design three pairs of earrings for mothers day. She did an amazing job.

The first Pair I had done were for my mom. I had purple and green ones made. They are my moms and dads favorite color. She did them perfectly. I wanted my mom to have something to feel close to my dad by. Kate delivered.

The Next pair was for my Babci (grandma) and I wanted her to have some green. We were all feeling the loss of my dad. I knew these just had to be super special. Kate got my Babci's taste perfectly.

The last pair was more fun for me. My Grandmother belongs to the red hats and she was complaining she couldn't find the right pair of earrings. She wanted some with red and purple. Kate pulled it off. She often gets asked where she purchased them. She explains They were a gift. On a side note She didn't pierce her ears until she was 74 years old.

The Survivors Club Review and Giveaway

The Survivors Club I really enjoyed this book. Along with the book cam a code so you could go online and find out your survivor profile. so the lets get talking about the book.

My favorite story in the book was about a lady who fell at a friends house and the knitting needle she had in her bag punctured her heart. What she didn't know at the time is that this would save her life. After surgery she started having a lot of pain. When she went to the doctors she found out she had cancer. I wonder if she hadn't had that fall if she would have found this lump under her arm. If she hadn't what would have happened.

There was story from the author about doing training for the military and how he had to get himself out of a drowning ship simulation. How scared he was but he passed his test. Ben Sherwood the writer of The survivors Club has worked as a producer on Good Morning America and NBC Nightly News.

I did the profile at www.survivorsguide.com and found out I am a believer. In all reality this is an accurate assessment. I am one who throws myself into my faith when things get hairy and I get scared. I let my faith and intuition lead me. In the end it all works out.

This book combines true stories, scientific research and the authors military experience. It answer the questions that so many of us have about how to survive when forced in a stressful situation. I read this book in two days. I couldnt put it down. It is just fantastic.
